FAQs

  • How do I book?
    Please fill out the INQUIRE form and someone will get back to you within 24 hours?
  • Do you have an instant booking option?
    No. Because this is my home and not a hotel, I want to know who will be staying in it and feel comfortable that they will treat it respectfully.
  • What is the nightly rate?
    Rates can range from $600/night to $1200/night, depending on time of year, holiday or non-holiday weeks and the number of people in your party.
  • How many people does the house accommodate?
    It has 4 bedrooms/beds. So, it can accommodate 4 individuals up to 4 couples. However, this is Mexico and stuff breaks occasionally, including AC units (even new and well-maintained ones). Therefore, we prefer groups that intend to use only 3 of the 4 bedrooms, so there is always a backup in the case of something deciding to break at the last minute. Please Note: We don't allow groups of friends to pile into and share rooms/beds. Each bed is for 1 individual or 1 couple.
  • How reliable is your internet?
    It's a fiber optic connection that consistently gets between 150-250mbps down and 75-150mbps up and has very little downtime. I've worked for tech startups for 15 years and I've never had better internet service in my life
  • What is your COVID safety protocol?
    We follow AirBNB's enhanced cleaning protocol and we offer the option a professional disinfecting service that can spray the whole house.
  • How close is your villa to the beach?
    It is about 500 meters up a hill from Costa Azul beach.
  • Do you rent individual bedrooms or just the entire house?
    I don't rent individual bedrooms, but I am open to renting the 3 remaining bedrooms together as a reduced price package while I am also staying here. They all have their own entrance from outside and are extremely private. We'd just be sharing the common areas.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    50% refund for cancellations requested at least 30 days prior to arrival. No refunds for cancellations within 30 days of arrival. In a case where you are forced to cancel because borders are closed to air travel to Mexico, I will refund 100%.
  • There is a picture of a woman with a cat on your website. Someone in my group is allergic. Do you have or allow pets?
    No. That picture was taken by the prior owner. Since I purchased it from her, the house has been renovated, deeply cleaned, newly furnished and has been pet-free ever since.
  • Is the villa close to any grocery stores?
    Yes. There are 4 grocery stores within a 5 minute drive of the house and one of them is a high-end health food grocery store.
  • Is there a private chef who can cook at the villa?
    Yes. There are two amazing chefs who cook at the villa regularly.
  • Where can we get a Covid test for our flight home?
    Los Cabos airport set up a tent right next to the international terminal where you can get a rapid Covid test for $25 and get your results in 30 minutes. So, just go to the airport an hour early and you should be fine.
